LAN Systems appoint marketing expert…

LAN Systems has recently appointed Richard Allsop, to help them to improve their sales and marketing activities, and refine their customer focus.

Richard is a partner with the Strategic Business Partnership, a Leicester based consultancy specialising in helping small and medium sized businesses to develop their potential to the full, and grow a profitable, long-term, customer base.

Early marketing activity has seen the complete revamp of the LAN Web Site, to incorporate the wide variety of products and services available from them, but perhaps more importantly, to encourage customers to give feedback to LAN about their products and services.

The web site will become a major element in LAN’s move to become more ‘customer centric’.

Phil Taylor, Technical Director at LAN, and the brains behind the new web site, felt that the web site should reflect LANs leading edge technology, and is keen to use web based technology to drive the business, rather than just manage it.

He says: “As a major provider of Intelligent Technology in the East Midlands, it is important that we demonstrate to our customers, and potential customers, what the technology is capable of. Our web site needs to be a major interface with our public.”

The next stage of the ‘customer centric’ strategy is to undertake a survey of the current LAN customers.

A survey will be published on the web site, and all customers will receive an e-mail, inviting them to complete the survey.

In addition, Richard will visit a cross section of the customer base, to conduct a face to face interview, to get a more in-depth understanding of customer needs.

We hope that many of you will complete the on-line questionnaire, and if Richard calls you, please agree to give him 20 minutes of your time…It will help us to tailor our services to more accurately satisfy your needs!
