Leicester based Computer Networking company Lan Systems have recently completed all pre-requisites to become an accredited reseller for Lucent Technologies.

This accreditation included technical and sales training courses at the Lucent training centre at their UK Distributor, Wickhill in Woking, Surrey.

Lan Systems have been successfully selling the Lucent VPN Firewall range of products since 1998 but with Lucents introduction of a new reseller scheme, the company decided that it was a good idea to become fully accredited.

"The Lucent VPN Firewall is a rock-solid firewall device that is completely transparent to the network and the user" said Lan Systems Technical Director, Phil Taylor. "This is given rise to the saying - you cannot hack what you cannot see. " added Phil.
