As the Phoenix moves closer to its aim to be the East Midlands ‘Centre of Excellence’ in digital media, it acquires a new sponsor.

LAN Systems, suppliers of integrated office technologies, are proud to sponsor the latest digital screenings of films at the Phoenix.

Their sponsorship was announced to an invited audience at a launch reception at the Phoenix on Monday 10th December, prior to the 6.05pm evening screening of Elizabeth…the Golden Years.
 
Wayne Taylor, Managing Director of LAN Systems, says:
“The use of digital technology to improve the creation and presentation of film, has a natural synergy with our own business.
The major difference is that our digital processes are designed to improve the ‘behind the scenes’ processes of business.

Alan Alderson-Smith, head of film and media at the Phoenix, points out that ‘Elizabeth…the golden years’ makes full use of digital technology to present dramatic film to its audience.
 
This is the first film to be screened at the Phoenix under this new sponsorship agreement.  It starts on Friday 7th December, and continues every night until Thursday 13th December.
